The urge to interrupt him before he had finished was overwhelming. He was a bore. Everyone who knew him knew that. Well, except him of course. The thing was, no one wanted to tell him straight to the face that he was a pain because he was very kind and used to help so many people, especially the ones in need.

He had the annoying habit of showing off and praising himself and his skills in music and dance. There was only so much that people in the WhatsApp group could take. So, one by one, people started to leave the group but he would request the admin to add them back and this went on for months.

The school alumni group had a WhatsApp account and people had been very active and friendly once upon a time but ever since he joined, the story changed. His messages were once appreciated and his achievements were praised but when repeated once too many times, people began to feel irritated especially when he criticized others and expected the very same people to praise his dumb conversations.

He was isolated by many but he never realized it because he was, in fact, oblivious to the fact that other people existed and they had their own lives to live.
