My dad used to make toys with coconut leaves when we were small. I still remember playing with the ball made from a coconut leaf. It was so cool. Then there were coconut leaf snakes, parrot, small bird and so on.

It was so much fun. I wanted to find out if people still know how to make toys from natural stuff rather than buying costly toys from online stores or big storefronts.

I have decided to hold a contest for making toys from ordinary and if possible natural stuff that you find at your house or surroundings.

This contest is open to all. So, if you feel it is fun to do this, irrespective of whether you are a whale or plankton, a teenager or a grandparent, please join and make a post about it and link it in the comments.

The winner?

I do not want steemit users to be judges because then they won’t be able to participate. So, I will ask a third person to select the winner.
